What is the Mission of Woodland? Jesus said to love God and each other. TCAW reacts to that Truth by providing
an environment that is real, relevant and relational. Woodland seeks to follow
God in carrying the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout Bartow County and beyond while teaching the precepts of God’s
Word in a relevant way to make authentic life change.
What Can I Expect on my First Visit to Woodland? Our Greeters will welcome you with an information-filled worship
bulletin and guide you into our Access area where you can grab a cup of coffee,
then enter for an invigorating worship experience led by the Woodland Worship Team.
It is our passion that you connect with God through His Word that is dynamically and interactively offered by Lead
Pastor and gifted teacher, Brad Martin.
What Should I Wear? The standard wardrobe for Woodland is casual. Modesty
is the only guideline. Come as you are—Wear what you have. Get comfortable and experience God.
What About My Kids? Your kids matter to us. That is why our
children’s ministries are designed to lead students of all ages to discover God through Jesus Christ. Noah’s
Park provides music experiences led by the Woodland Worship
Leader, Jayme Martin, followed by age appropriate messages given by our lay pastors.
Our heart is for your kids to find that God is real, relevant and relational. Sunday’s Journey is a hands-on
learning environment for Preschool through Adult. Wednesdays includes Youth UB1 and Youth R.A.W. while adults experience
a study on the book of Titus. A safe nursery is provided for all services.
Will I Be Asked to Give Money? As a guest of Woodland you are not expected to participate in the giving portion of our
service. However, if TCAW becomes your church, then we ask you to be faithful to God in your giving and partner with us to
accomplish His work and His will in Bartow County and beyond.
Will I be Singled Out as a First Time Guest? You will not be put on the spot.
We value your right to anonymity. However, we would like a record of your visit.
Please fill out the tear-off section of your bulletin and leave it in the offering basket or with a Greeter or one
of our Lay Pastors in the Access. Feel free to use this as a way to communicate
your needs to us.
wHAT DENOMINATION IS tcaw? TCAW is affiliated with the Bartow Baptist Association, and the Georgia Baptist Convention
of the Southern Baptist Convention. Some call The Church at Woodland, “Baptist
with a Twist”. The church worship style and infrastructure is developed
and practiced around a non-traditional model. The phrase, “We have never
done it that way before!” is not a roadblock but a guiding principle. A better catch phrase for Woodland would be, “This is not your mother’s
church!” TCAW is not different just to be different, however:
Woodland is Different to Make a Difference.
